Spring Workout clothes&motivation

 Spring Motivation

So if you’ve been needing a push in getting healthy I’m here to give you one and an update on my own new healthy habits, but first an active outfit of the day

This outfit is what I like to call my progress motivation. I believe that when you’ve reached a certain goal in your life you’ve been trying to reach you should definitely treat yourself. Usually people lose 5 pounds and may treat themselves to a cookie (Which I have) or a well deserved cheat meal. This time I bought myself some clothes and in that stack came a new set of gym clothes. Reebok Reebok Nike ha.

-Reebok Top (Tj Maxx)

-Reebok Running Spandex (Tj Maxx)

-Nike Free Runs 5.0 (Nike.com)

This outfits almost all black too lol.

Just like to say I’m a steady 14-15 pounds from where I started (WHOOP!!) and I’m not at my goal but I’m 15 pounds closer and that’s a start. Exercising really isn’t my problems it’s portions, calories and snacking.

New Habits.

-New Lunch

I’ve switched small items of my lunch that made big difference. I switched from a snack bag of lays potato chips to a change off of different fruits everyday. One day I’ll have an apple or an apple with a side of low cal peanut butter or caramel (For my sweet tooth). Next choice of fruit might be pineapples, strawberries or oranges.

I switch my main meals of my lunch everyday trying to keep variety in my lunch so you never run out of healthy food options a light day might be Progresso chicken noodle soup or beef stew soup and a more heavier day will be Lean cuisine Asian creations line of rice dishes or lean cuisine pasta creations.

Snacks

Finding snacks for me isn’t that had its finding a snack that will actually hold me over until my next meal a few things I’ve found that help me stay full

-drinking water

Sometimes when my stomach growls I notice a few sips of water will shut it up meaning I was probably just thirsty in the first place not necessarily hungry.

-granola bars

I eat nature valley dark chocolate and almond granola bars and I recommend this so much. I’m not a big fan of dark chocolate but I knew it could also something that could satisfy your sweet tooth cravings and also be healthy for you. So personally this granola bar was a win win for me.

-Gum

If you are a gum chewer you might already know this secret can curve stomach growling quickly. I don’t really chew gum but I do use it every so often.

-Sunflower Seeds

If you can quickly get in a rhythm of breaking the shell spitting and eating the seed this ca quickly become something you focus on instead of your stomach growling plus after a few seeds it fills you up surprisingly.

Portions and Calories

This is how I see it; you can never have too much veggie or greens for example a salad. Of course tomatoes and cucumber and onions have calories but they’re also veggies so I don’t really freak about their calories now the cheese I fill my salad and the ranch I put on top is important.

So maybe by low-fat or low-cal cheese and check the serving size and same for the ranch. Now i'm not perfect I love blue cheese dressing, but I should really switch back to low- fat/cal ranch, but baby steps.. baby steps.

Exercise

Ill put it like this schedule for now is

Monday- Leg Day

Tuesday-Arm Day

Wednesday-Leg Day

Thursday-Break Day (Light Workout)

Friday-Butt Day

And that’s gym time days every other day I’m involved in either team tennis practice, competitive practice or high school practice.

Goals-

My goals so far are to get another 15 pounds down and to get out and run. I’ve never liked running, but I’d really like to give it another try. I’d also like to try new activities like hiking, water sports, Zumba You are destined to do great things keep it up xoxo.
