Birthday "haul"

okay so in my last post I mentioned it was my birthday and that I would post the items I received I had to put some things on hold because I wanted to wait until everything I ordered online was here. 

Okay so first I'll start with the makeup I purchased. 

So first I'd like to say that I am obsessed with these two drugstore brand makeups nyx and elf (eyes.lips.face) cosmetics this isn't my first time ordering from elf so

I knew how the packaging would be and also how quick

It would get here (a few days after I oredered) so first I ordered the elf Beauty Book: the smoky look and one thing to note was online it looks fairly small but in the picture and in person it's anything but small not really a let down I was just surprised. It comes with a day side and a night side, instructions on how to

Apply each, eyelid primer, brightening eye eyeline and a brush. I tried out the colors for myself and I can say they were definitely pretty and lightweight not too chalky or shimmery. Next was the elf perfect eye eyeshadow set. It comes with  9 natural shades two matte colors and every other color has either a slight or absolute shimmer to it. It also comes with  a lengthining mascara and eyeliner. I would have like to see a brush instead but that is fine. Both were only 5.00 so this was a $10 purchase with basically 15 new shades, eyelid primer, 2 eyeliners and mascara so not too bad. Elf has sales all the time so I'm sure you could find those items even cheaper than that. Next I really wanted to try some nyx products mostly their lip liners and matte lip gloss. Next time I'll order specifically online (found these at a local store). They were cheaper but ordering online you would know you're getting the right product or the product you want. 

First I got 4 lip liners mahogany(long lip pencil) burgundy(auto lip liner), citrine and current.(long lip pencil) these all were about $2 other then the regular $3.50 on the nyx site. (I'll give swatches later) next I got a nyx soft matte lip cream in the color Stockholm it's a pinkish color but not the brightest shade of pink

 it has a slight brown color to it, but it okay because it was very true to its name. The product went on smoothly and you don't need a lot of product at a time a little bit goes far depending on the look you're going for! Next  I got a nyx eyebrow pencil in brown. 

Lastly I spent on my money on something usually wouldn't but I wanted to try forever 21 lash extension duo and I wouldn't buy makeup from

Just anywhere but I needed a small amount in my cart to

Get free shipping so I thought what the heck I'll just try it and I'm so glad i did. One brush is a primer with fibers and the other brush is the normal mascara and I have never seen a mascara lengthen my lashes so well (pictures later) it's something I would recommend more then a big makeup brand mascara. so that's all for right now in my next post I'll talk about the clothes I bought and also model and show you how everything fit and looked!
